Minimum Requirements:
Grade 12
Valid Driver's License (At least code B)
No criminal record
Metro Police Qualification from an institution accredited by the RTMC (Road Traffic Management Corporation) comprising of: Traffic Officer Diploma & Law Enforcement Skills Certificate
Registered as Traffic Officer
OD-ETDP Qualification (Occupationally Directed Education Training and Development Practices or Relevant Diploma or Higher Certificate: on NQF Level 5 or equivalent thereof
Registered as an Assessor, Moderator
Registered Skills Development Facilitator.
Advanced Diploma / B-Tech /Bachelor's Degree: Policing/ Traffic Management/ Law Enforcement on NQF level 6 will be an added advantage
3 years' experience as Inspector/Superintendent or equivalent role
2 years' experience in law Enforcement/Police Training Environment
Core Responsibilities:
Oversee the preparation and planning of learning and training material.
Oversee the facilitation and presenting of training programmes to achieve learning outcomes.
Manage the assessment of learner’s level of achievement and competency.
Manage the measurement of quality, impact and success of the learning programmes.
Oversee that the assessment outcome is fair, valid and reliable by ensuring that assessment criteria was consistent.
Coordinate and participate in ad-hoc/special Law Enforcement and crime prevention operations.
Manage domestic violence complaints and incidents according to the Domestic Violence Act.
Ensure that the Division is effective and efficient through administration processes.
Promote the image of EMPD through maintain good public relations in accordance to the Batho Pele principles.

I confirm that all information, including Personal
Information, supplied to the CoE is accurate and
current and agree to correct and update such
information when necessary.
By submitting any Personal Information to the CoE in
any form I acknowledge that such conduct constitutes an
indefinite unconditional, specific and voluntary
consent to the processing of such Personal Information
in the following manner by the CoE and/or third
parties:
Personal Information may be shared by the CoE
with
Verification Information Suppliers for
verification or
other legitimate purposes;
Personal Information may be stored indefinitely
by
the CoE and/or the Verification Information
Suppliers.
I note that if the CoE has utilised the Personal
Information contrary to the Privacy and Data Protection
Conditions, I shall first resolve any concerns with the
CoE. If I am not satisfied with such process, I have
the right to lodge a complaint with the Information
Regulator.
I acknowledge that I may withdraw any consent provided
in terms of this Agreement and if so Personal
Information will only be processed if permitted under
the Privacy and Data Protection Conditions.
A copy of Personal Information kept by the CoE will be
furnished to me upon request in terms of the provisions
of POPI Act.
I unconditionally agree to indemnify the CoE and/or the
Verification Information Suppliers against any
liability that may result from the processing of
Personal Information. This includes unintentional
disclosures of such Personal Information to - or access
by unauthorized persons, and/or any reliance which may
inadvertently be placed on inaccurate Personal
Information provided to the CoE by myself and/or any
third parties.
I acknowledge that I have read and understand this
agreement and accept the conditions therein.
