The Local Government Regulation, (Regulation 21, issued on 14 January 2017), requires that the selection panel of the senior managers for various posts in the municipality consist of among others, an external technical expert who is not employed by the municipality.
In line with the above, the City of Ekurhuleni invites experts in the various fields to serve on a panel of technical expert providers, whose services will be utilised on an as-and-when required basis, on the various panels or provide advisory expertise when needed, in the following areas:
Responsibilities:
The panel members will be expected to provide the following services:
Professional Registration with the relevant Professional Body (where applicable) is required.
Experience in the public sector, particularly in the local government sector will be an added advantage.
The panel members will be remunerated in accordance with the Treasury regulated rates for consultants.

Applications will not be considered if the necessary copies of the required qualifications, identity documents, driver’s license (if applicable) and current professional registration (if applicable), are not attached to the application / CV.
