Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree/ B Tech in Recreation Management or Facility Management or relevant equivalent qualification
Valid Code B Driver's Licence
Must be able to work independently
3 to 5 years' experience in a similar industry
Core Responsibilities:
Develop and implement facility maintenance plans and programs in the area of jurisdiction
Define methods and techniques to apply in area of specialization that align with functional area objectives and operational strategy
Determine research methods and procedures to enhance service delivery
Adapt and implement changes in policy, laws, regulations, initiatives and relevant industry practices making recommendations accordingly
Identify, diagnose and recommend improvements and provide specialist support and advice when required
Implement and provide input into governance and risk management processes, systems and legislation within area of specialization
Ensure update, adherence to safety legislation
Manage the maintenance programme of all movable and fixed assets
Participate in the drafting of the Division's budget
Effective management of portfolio budget in line with Council's Supply Chain Policy and MFMA
Monitor Divisional expenditure, ensure that correct assets are purchased and that the Division adheres to the Procurement Policy
Responsible for the smooth operation of administrative functions
Build and maintain relationships with customers and internal and external stakeholders that promote cross functional process delivery solutions
Contribute to effective operations management service delivery within the Division through compliance to the Batho Pele principles
Handle discipline, grievances, conflict and all well-being matters
Integrate and share product, process and system knowledge attained through formal and informal learning opportunities
Participate in Recruitment and training of sub ordinates
Responsible for Management of operational activities in respect of facility management portfolio in the area of jurisdiction
Ensure equitable access to SRAC facilities in the area of jurisdiction

Personal Information may be shared by the CoE

Verification Information Suppliers for
verification or
other legitimate purposes;
Personal Information may be stored indefinitely

the CoE and/or the Verification Information
Suppliers.
I note that if the CoE has utilised the Personal
Information contrary to the Privacy and Data Protection
Conditions, I shall first resolve any concerns with the
CoE. If I am not satisfied with such process, I have
the right to lodge a complaint with the Information
Regulator.
I acknowledge that I may withdraw any consent provided
in terms of this Agreement and if so Personal
Information will only be processed if permitted under
the Privacy and Data Protection Conditions.
A copy of Personal Information kept by the CoE will be
furnished to me upon request in terms of the provisions
of POPI Act.
I unconditionally agree to indemnify the CoE and/or the
Verification Information Suppliers against any
liability that may result from the processing of
Personal Information. This includes unintentional
disclosures of such Personal Information to - or access
by unauthorized persons, and/or any reliance which may
inadvertently be placed on inaccurate Personal
Information provided to the CoE by myself and/or any
third parties.
I acknowledge that I have read and understand this
agreement and accept the conditions therein.
