Minimum Requirements:
Accounting Degree or relevant equivalent NQF Level 7 qualification
MFMA Certification
3 - 5 years' experience in a similar environment
Core Responsibilities:
Functional planning of the cash management and bank reconciliation sub section to ensure accurate, up to date and reconciled cashbook and bank accounts
Manage investments and cash flow processes to adhere to reporting requirements
Ensure accurate and up to date expenditure account reconciliation
Monitor and report on special payments, land guarantees, forex and travel cards
Transfer of funds between City's bank accounts to ensure that internal cash requirements are met
Analyse and investigate deviations on cash management reports and report to Senior Manager Cash Management
Ensure financial administration processes comply with internal control and governance standards and report on any deviations
Organise sub section to maintain the infrastructure needed to produce the required financial accountability
Attend to auditor's information requests and queries for the sub section
Scrutinize financial indicators report on bank reconciliations and submit to Senior Manager
Compile summaries and other reports to Senior Manager Cash Management

I understand that privacy is important to the
Responsible Parties and the Responsible Parties will
use reasonable efforts in order to ensure that any
Personal Information in their possession or processed
on their behalf is kept confidential, stored in a
secure manner and processed in terms of South African
law.
I confirm that all information, including Personal
Information, supplied to the CoE is accurate and
current and agree to correct and update such
information when necessary.
By submitting any Personal Information to the CoE in
any form I acknowledge that such conduct constitutes an
indefinite unconditional, specific and voluntary
consent to the processing of such Personal Information
in the following manner by the CoE and/or third
parties:
Personal Information may be shared by the CoE
with
Verification Information Suppliers for
verification or
other legitimate purposes;
Personal Information may be stored indefinitely
by
the CoE and/or the Verification Information
Suppliers.
I note that if the CoE has utilised the Personal
Information contrary to the Privacy and Data Protection
Conditions, I shall first resolve any concerns with the
CoE. If I am not satisfied with such process, I have
the right to lodge a complaint with the Information
Regulator.
I acknowledge that I may withdraw any consent provided
in terms of this Agreement and if so Personal
Information will only be processed if permitted under
the Privacy and Data Protection Conditions.
A copy of Personal Information kept by the CoE will be
furnished to me upon request in terms of the provisions
of POPI Act.
I unconditionally agree to indemnify the CoE and/or the
Verification Information Suppliers against any
liability that may result from the processing of
Personal Information. This includes unintentional
disclosures of such Personal Information to - or access
by unauthorized persons, and/or any reliance which may
inadvertently be placed on inaccurate Personal
Information provided to the CoE by myself and/or any
third parties.
I acknowledge that I have read and understand this
agreement and accept the conditions therein.
