Minimum Requirements:
B Public Admin / BCom Business Management / Social Science Degree or relevant equivalent NQF Level 7 qualification
At least 8 years' relevant management experience, of which at least 4 years must have been at senior management level
Strategic capacity and leadership skills
Interpersonal and people management skills
Core Responsibilities:
Facilitate the development and proactive implementation of a sound support services strategy to manage and monitor the overall administrative, financial and governance functions of the Department
Guide and lead the Division's staff members in ensuring effective and efficient support services across the Department
Direct, control and optimise resources to meet established objectives, monitor results against business plans, and make adjustments where necessary
Ensure governance and risk management to ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, policies, processes and resolutions and minimise risk
Oversee financial processes to ensure compliance with financial controls as contemplated in the MFMA
Ensure customer service orientation to ensure sound relations with the customer in relation to governance and compliance activities

The successful candidate will be required to sign a performance contract as per Council resolution.
Candidates may be requested to submit proof of the NQF level applicable to the qualifications they have obtained.

I acknowledge that should the City of Ekurhuleni find
any discrepancies or issues, the City, reserves the

the CoE is provided voluntarily.
I understand that privacy is important to the
Responsible Parties and the Responsible Parties will
use reasonable efforts in order to ensure that any
Personal Information in their possession or processed
on their behalf is kept confidential, stored in a
secure manner and processed in terms of South African
law.
I confirm that all information, including Personal
Information, supplied to the CoE is accurate and
current and agree to correct and update such
information when necessary.
By submitting any Personal Information to the CoE in
any form I acknowledge that such conduct constitutes an
indefinite unconditional, specific and voluntary
consent to the processing of such Personal Information
in the following manner by the CoE and/or third
parties:
Personal Information may be shared by the CoE
with
Verification Information Suppliers for
verification or
other legitimate purposes;
Personal Information may be stored indefinitely
by
the CoE and/or the Verification Information
Suppliers.
I note that if the CoE has utilised the Personal
Information contrary to the Privacy and Data Protection
Conditions, I shall first resolve any concerns with the
CoE. If I am not satisfied with such process, I have
the right to lodge a complaint with the Information
Regulator.
I acknowledge that I may withdraw any consent provided
in terms of this Agreement and if so Personal
Information will only be processed if permitted under
the Privacy and Data Protection Conditions.
A copy of Personal Information kept by the CoE will be
furnished to me upon request in terms of the provisions
of POPI Act.
I unconditionally agree to indemnify the CoE and/or the
Verification Information Suppliers against any
liability that may result from the processing of
Personal Information. This includes unintentional
disclosures of such Personal Information to - or access
by unauthorized persons, and/or any reliance which may
inadvertently be placed on inaccurate Personal
Information provided to the CoE by myself and/or any
third parties.
I acknowledge that I have read and understand this
agreement and accept the conditions therein.
