Minimum Requirements:

  • B Degree in Auditing or Accounting or relevant equivalent NQF Level 7 qualification
  • 3 years experience in internal audit
  • A valid driver's license

Core Responsibilities:

  • Ensure efficient and effective planning, execution and reporting of audits related to corporate audit
  • Execute audit assignments as per the approved audit plan
  • Perform audit work in compliance with the Global Internal Auditors Standard at all times
  • Implement risk management, governance and compliance practices
  • Ensure that audit work is executed efficiently within the prescribed time allocated
  • Identify and resolve queries and problems timeously, apply discretion in line with provided guidelines and escalate unresolved problems
  • Escalate unresolved delivery and quality issues to operational management and process owners.
  • Plan, advise on, perform and document audits, and report on the resolution of any weaknesses and shortcomings.
  • Execute the assigned work program that cover the scope and objectives that are based on the risk analysis of the relevant audit project
  • Ensure that audit work and evidence are properly documented within the Audit Management System as per the Internal Audit approved methodology, to substantiate the contents of the audit report
