Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Accounting Science / Internal Auditing or relevant equivalent NQF Level 7 qualification
  • Post Graduate Diploma in Forensic Auditing or Certified Fraud Examiner or equivalent would be an added advantage
  • 5 years' experience in a forensic environment with at least 3 years as team lead/managerial experience (preferably experience in local government).
  • A valid drivers license

Core Responsibilities:

  • Manage a functional unit within a division that is accountable for the delivery of set objectives within specified time frames and costs.
  • Review and Issue project notes were necessary on all project files and electronic working papers throughout every project to ensure that the set project objectives are accomplished and that the investigative work is in compliance with the Internal Audit Forensic Methodology.
  • Provide accurate and regular feedback to the team members on activities of the assigned projects.
  • Manage and maintain the investigation case management tool.
  • Monitoring of the relevant Team members' performance and productivity by reviewing their work performed.
  • Ensure timeous, clear contracting and assessment of performance expectations with direct reports in line with organizational objectives
