Minimum Requirements:

  • A 3-year degree in Human Resources Management, NQF level 7
  • Occupationally Directed Education Training and Development Practices (ODETDP) qualification
  • 5 - 8 years' experience in a similar environment
  • A Valid Driver’s License

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic capability and leadership input into the Departmental objectives to ensure that planned learning and development is conducted to attain the strategic objectives of the Organisation
  • Develop operational processes for the implementation of skills development requirements within the Organisation to ensure that skills development operational processes comply with policies, regulations, procedures and guidelines as espoused in the Organisations SOP to attain the overall business objectives of the Organisation
  • Ensure adequate implementation and maintenance of governance and risk management practices to ensure governance compliance and elimination of risk
  • Participate and implement financial processes in line with supply chain management policy and legislation to comply with the requirements of legislation and ensure sound financial management
  • Build business and client service orientation to implement and maintain an effective business partnering model
  • Prepare accurate reports to satisfy risk reporting requirements, with relevant interpretation of analysis for institutional users to ensure proficiency in understanding and application of risk analysis and reporting practices for institutional use
