Minimum Requirements:
Diploma in Information Technology or relevant equivalent NQF Level 6 qualification
A+ or MCDST
N+ will be an added advantage
ITIL Foundation V3
At least 3 years' experience in resolving hardware as well as software problems. Extensive knowledge of enterprise desktop environment such as Wintel & Mac OS X
A valid driver's license
Core Responsibilities:
Provide expert level technical support to the team and internal clients. Oversee daily operations of the local technical staff that provide desktop, printer, mobile device support and peripherals, to ensure service delivery excellence meet, improve and exceed Service Level Agreements (SLAs), identify and implement opportunities for optimization
Perform all duties and tasks according to relevant policies, processes and regulation of local government to ensure technical field support service is offered to users and ensure that field technicians delivers excellent and consistent level of service to customers, supervise immediate team of technicians
Comply with governance and risk management requirements to ensure that completed work adheres to governance and legislative requirements
Apply financial processes to comply to MFMA and prevent unnecessary financial losses
Perform customer service orientation to always meet customer expectations

I understand that privacy is important to the
Responsible Parties and the Responsible Parties will
use reasonable efforts in order to ensure that any
Personal Information in their possession or processed
on their behalf is kept confidential, stored in a
secure manner and processed in terms of South African
law.
I confirm that all information, including Personal
Information, supplied to the CoE is accurate and
current and agree to correct and update such
information when necessary.
By submitting any Personal Information to the CoE in
any form I acknowledge that such conduct constitutes an
indefinite unconditional, specific and voluntary
consent to the processing of such Personal Information
in the following manner by the CoE and/or third
parties:
Personal Information may be shared by the CoE
with
Verification Information Suppliers for
verification or
other legitimate purposes;
Personal Information may be stored indefinitely
by
the CoE and/or the Verification Information
Suppliers.
I note that if the CoE has utilised the Personal
Information contrary to the Privacy and Data Protection
Conditions, I shall first resolve any concerns with the
CoE. If I am not satisfied with such process, I have
the right to lodge a complaint with the Information
Regulator.
I acknowledge that I may withdraw any consent provided
in terms of this Agreement and if so Personal
Information will only be processed if permitted under
the Privacy and Data Protection Conditions.
A copy of Personal Information kept by the CoE will be
furnished to me upon request in terms of the provisions
of POPI Act.
I unconditionally agree to indemnify the CoE and/or the
Verification Information Suppliers against any
liability that may result from the processing of
Personal Information. This includes unintentional
disclosures of such Personal Information to - or access
by unauthorized persons, and/or any reliance which may
inadvertently be placed on inaccurate Personal
Information provided to the CoE by myself and/or any
third parties.
I acknowledge that I have read and understand this
agreement and accept the conditions therein.
