Minimum Requirements:
BCom Degree in Finance or relevant equivalent NQF Level 7 qualification
3 - 5 years' experience in a similar environment, preferably articles
Expert in utilization of the caseware programme
Good communication skills
Core Responsibilities:
Compile annual financial statements and related statistical returns, general ledger and cost structure maintenance
Provide expert advice on the transaction reporting process to ensure compliance with GRAP and regulatory requirements
Maintain cost structure and general ledger according to mSCOA requirements to submit annual financial statements in terms of applicable legislation
Supply comprehensive support to Departments regarding the maintenance of the audit file for year-end purposes to keep an audit trail of transactions affecting financial statements
Monitor and coordinate the caseware file and ensure alignment with the accounting system to ensure accuracy of the financial information and AFS process
Provide customer service orientation and monitor accuracy of standing journals on the accounting system to ensure correct votes utilization for reporting processes
Plan and coordinate year-end procedures with CCC's i.r.o. closure of books of account to meet due date in term of legislation
Liaise with Auditors to minimize or eliminate any queries or qualification within in City

Information, supplied to the CoE is accurate and
current and agree to correct and update such

By submitting any Personal Information to the CoE in
any form I acknowledge that such conduct constitutes an
indefinite unconditional, specific and voluntary
consent to the processing of such Personal Information
in the following manner by the CoE and/or third
parties:
Personal Information may be shared by the CoE
with
Verification Information Suppliers for
verification or
other legitimate purposes;
Personal Information may be stored indefinitely
by
the CoE and/or the Verification Information
Suppliers.
I note that if the CoE has utilised the Personal
Information contrary to the Privacy and Data Protection
Conditions, I shall first resolve any concerns with the
CoE. If I am not satisfied with such process, I have
the right to lodge a complaint with the Information
Regulator.
I acknowledge that I may withdraw any consent provided
in terms of this Agreement and if so Personal
Information will only be processed if permitted under
the Privacy and Data Protection Conditions.
A copy of Personal Information kept by the CoE will be
furnished to me upon request in terms of the provisions
of POPI Act.
I unconditionally agree to indemnify the CoE and/or the
Verification Information Suppliers against any
liability that may result from the processing of
Personal Information. This includes unintentional
disclosures of such Personal Information to - or access
by unauthorized persons, and/or any reliance which may
inadvertently be placed on inaccurate Personal
Information provided to the CoE by myself and/or any
third parties.
I acknowledge that I have read and understand this
agreement and accept the conditions therein.
