Minimum Requirements:

  • B Degree in Business Administration or equivalent relevant qualification
  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a Manager in a similar environment

Core Responsibilities:

  • Develop, plan, implement and drive a functional operational strategy and leadership in response to the overall Departmental strategy
  • Manage operational processes, overall planning, organizing, monitoring and controlling of resources to achieve specific goals
  • Render overall office administration and management responsibilities for the office of the HOD and their teams to ensure effective and efficient administration
  • Develop, manage and implement response tracking systems to ensure that all questions received from different spheres of Government are responded to in time
  • Co-ordinate and compile progress reports as required to various committees and forums
  • Perform overall office administration and management responsibilities for the office of the HOD and their teams
  • Establish, implement and manage operational governance and risk management processes in the context of organisational policy
  • Manage the development and implementation of the budget within the Division
  • Provide effective customer service to the public and build relationships with the stakeholders
  • Build and sustain relationships with decision makers and interest groups in support of Divisional groups
