Minimum Requirements:
B degree in Human Resources or equivalent NQF Level 7 qualification
Certification with the Human Resources Professional Body will be an added advantage
Knowledge of business / service strategy
Knowledge of service management principles
People management principles
Financial management principles
Project management skills
5 - 8 years' experience in remuneration and benefits with strong HR Generalist experience
Core Responsibilities:
Develop, implement and align the remuneration and benefits strategy
Research, develop and implement fringe benefit policies to address the gaps and deficiencies
Manage the implementation, application and interpretation of remuneration and benefits strategies across the Municipality
Develop and implement remuneration and benefits systems and business processes within the Council and provide specialist advice and guidance in respect of remuneration and benefits policies and procedures
Manage information briefings on leading remuneration market practice and manage projects in consultation with the Divisional Head
Manage the coordination of job profiling and development of job descriptions for all levels within CoE and ensure that all job profiles are correctly stored in the reward database profile repository within your section
Manage accurate administration and maintenance of employee records for the CoE as per the national archives and record services Act
Manage the development of salary budget in liaison with finance department as per treasury standards
Oversee the preparation on monthly and annual budgets and financial reports in accordance with statutory and Council presentation requirements

The successful candidate will be required to sign a performance contract as per Council resolution.

Information, supplied to the CoE is accurate and
current and agree to correct and update such

By submitting any Personal Information to the CoE in
any form I acknowledge that such conduct constitutes an
indefinite unconditional, specific and voluntary
consent to the processing of such Personal Information
in the following manner by the CoE and/or third
parties:
Personal Information may be shared by the CoE
with
Verification Information Suppliers for
verification or
other legitimate purposes;
Personal Information may be stored indefinitely
by
the CoE and/or the Verification Information
Suppliers.
I note that if the CoE has utilised the Personal
Information contrary to the Privacy and Data Protection
Conditions, I shall first resolve any concerns with the
CoE. If I am not satisfied with such process, I have
the right to lodge a complaint with the Information
Regulator.
I acknowledge that I may withdraw any consent provided
in terms of this Agreement and if so Personal
Information will only be processed if permitted under
the Privacy and Data Protection Conditions.
A copy of Personal Information kept by the CoE will be
furnished to me upon request in terms of the provisions
of POPI Act.
I unconditionally agree to indemnify the CoE and/or the
Verification Information Suppliers against any
liability that may result from the processing of
Personal Information. This includes unintentional
disclosures of such Personal Information to - or access
by unauthorized persons, and/or any reliance which may
inadvertently be placed on inaccurate Personal
Information provided to the CoE by myself and/or any
third parties.
I acknowledge that I have read and understand this
agreement and accept the conditions therein.
