Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree /B Tech Business Management
  • 3 to 5 years' relevant experience

Core Responsibilities:

  • Develop, manage, support and monitor overall administration practices, ensuring Implementation and compliance with the organisational administrative framework
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of an operational strategy for the business area in alignment with Divisional objectives
  • Ensure the efficient delivery of the administrative support function of the Department
  • Ensure that the Division develops an efficient, sustainable and proper document management system for the Department
  • Develop and manage changes in archiving laws, regulations, initiatives and relevant industry practices
  • Manage and develop the implementation and enforcement of departmental administrative Standard Operating Practices
  • Manage and control the departmental Fleet by developing and aligning fleet management practices and processes across the Department
  • Governance and Risk Management and ensure the effective implementation of Council resolutions with regard to risk
  • Ensure that financial administration processes comply with internal control and governance standards and report any deviations
  • Customer service orientation - enable a culture that builds rewarding relationships, facilitate service feedback and provide exceptional customer service
  • People management by building and sustaining relationships with all stakeholders and interest groups in support of Divisional objectives
  • Develop Workplace Skills Plan for the Administrative Support Section
