Minimum Requirements:

  • Grade 12
  • National Diploma in Accounting or related qualification NQF level 6
  • 5 years' experience in billing and collection
  • Experience in preforming billing and collection functions in property management would be an added advantage

Core Responsibilities:

  • Oversee, control and coordinate the financial and accounting activities and ensure effective financial management of the activities associated with revenue management, GRAP reporting and billing and collections services.
  • Manage functional unit within a division that is accountable for the delivery of set objectives within specified time frames and costs.
  • Ensure revenue enhancement through effective strategic management of internal and external resources capacity.
  • Develop and maintain strategic operational process relevant to billing and collection.
  • Oversee the credit business area by setting credit rating criteria, determining credit ceilings and monitor the billing and collection of accounts.
  • Conduct credit investigations and ensure collection of overdue account.
  • Ensure compliance to various relevant legislative and other compliance documents associated with the area of specialization.
  • Contribute to the preparation of monthly and annual budget and financial reports in accordance with statutory and council requirements.
