Minimum Requirements:
Degree in Property Studies / Construction / Real Estate or relevant equivalent NQF Level 7 qualification
MFMA Certification will serve as an advantage
Registered as a professional Valuer will serve as an advantage
5 - 8 years' experience in a similar environment
A valid driver's license
Core Responsibilities:
Plan, organise, lead, manage, implement, control and monitor overall administrative and financial practices, ensuring compliance with accounting practices and Local Government Acts, in alignment with the overall finance strategy i.r.o Municipal Valuations
Develop, advise and implement strategic capability and leadership to ensure that organisational demands are met in the short, medium and long term
Ensure the implementation of operational processes to ensure that divisional and sectional goals and objectives are met
Ensure governance and risk management to identify and manage governance and risk expose liability
Perform financial processes to ensure and oversee effective financial control, corporate and financial compliance
Ensure customer service orientation to provide exceptional customer relationships and client satisfaction

The successful candidate will be required to sign a performance contract as per Council resolution.
Candidates may be requested to submit proof of the NQF level applicable to the qualifications they have obtained.

I understand that privacy is important to the
Responsible Parties and the Responsible Parties will
use reasonable efforts in order to ensure that any
Personal Information in their possession or processed
on their behalf is kept confidential, stored in a
secure manner and processed in terms of South African
law.
I confirm that all information, including Personal
Information, supplied to the CoE is accurate and
current and agree to correct and update such
information when necessary.
By submitting any Personal Information to the CoE in
any form I acknowledge that such conduct constitutes an
indefinite unconditional, specific and voluntary
consent to the processing of such Personal Information
in the following manner by the CoE and/or third
parties:
Personal Information may be shared by the CoE
with
Verification Information Suppliers for
verification or
other legitimate purposes;
Personal Information may be stored indefinitely
by
the CoE and/or the Verification Information
Suppliers.
I note that if the CoE has utilised the Personal
Information contrary to the Privacy and Data Protection
Conditions, I shall first resolve any concerns with the
CoE. If I am not satisfied with such process, I have
the right to lodge a complaint with the Information
Regulator.
I acknowledge that I may withdraw any consent provided
in terms of this Agreement and if so Personal
Information will only be processed if permitted under
the Privacy and Data Protection Conditions.
A copy of Personal Information kept by the CoE will be
furnished to me upon request in terms of the provisions
of POPI Act.
I unconditionally agree to indemnify the CoE and/or the
Verification Information Suppliers against any
liability that may result from the processing of
Personal Information. This includes unintentional
disclosures of such Personal Information to - or access
by unauthorized persons, and/or any reliance which may
inadvertently be placed on inaccurate Personal
Information provided to the CoE by myself and/or any
third parties.
I acknowledge that I have read and understand this
agreement and accept the conditions therein.
