Minimum Requirements:

  • Grade 12
  • Computer Literacy: MS Office
  • 5 years' experience with relevant supervisory experience

Core Responsibilities:

  • Rendering financial support to the accountant & other officials during the compilation of the annual & adjustment budget & other budget related matters during the year.
  • Assist with compiling the necessary documents for the compilation of the OPEX & CAPEX budget.
  • Assist with updating of departmental financial reporting templates.
  • Attend meetings & workshops as per instructions from senior management.
  • Ensure completed work adhere to governance & legislative requirements.
  • Adhere to accounting best practice required by treasury & other financial institutions
  • Perform movable assets verification process within prescribed policies & procedures
  • Coordinate obsolete asset process.
  • Provide customer services & adhere to Batho Pele principles
  • Maintain professional interactions & always ensure ethical dealings with stakeholders.
  • Integrate new knowledge attained through formal learning opportunities & applying it into the execution of the duties
