Minimum Requirements:
A Degree in Internal Auditing or relevant equivalent NQF Level 7 qualification
5 years Operations Audit experience, of which at least two years supervising and/or managing audit projects (i.e., conducting audits independently from start to finish).
A valid driver's license
Core Responsibilities:
Ensure efficient and effective planning, execution and reporting of audits relating to operations
Lead a team in the execution of audits in accordance with the Internal Audit strategic plan and methodology to ensure that management is provided with the assurance that policies, processes and procedures are in place
Perform audits to ensure the accuracy and reliability of information generated by all systems to ensure effective identification of execution, reporting and communication
Quality assurance to appraise the quality of audit work executed to ensure that completed work adheres to governance and legislative requirements
Ensure adherence to specified standards, policies and SOPs to ensure that the financial process are adhered to
Participate and contribute to a culture which builds rewarding relationships, facilitate, service feedback and create exceptional customer services to ensure that the relations within the City are sound and healthy to the benefit of the Municipality
Responsible and accountable for supervising, leading, conducting and reporting on scheduled audits and ensuring that Operations audit work conforms to the internal audit standards
Continuously assess team performance, provide timely and clear feedback on contracted outputs and provide training where appropriate
Drive own & team performance in order to achieve business objectives in accordance to required response time, quality and service delivery standards
Perform ad hoc audit related activities

Responsible Parties and the Responsible Parties will
use reasonable efforts in order to ensure that any
Personal Information in their possession or processed
on their behalf is kept confidential, stored in a
secure manner and processed in terms of South African
law.
I confirm that all information, including Personal
Information, supplied to the CoE is accurate and
current and agree to correct and update such
information when necessary.
By submitting any Personal Information to the CoE in
any form I acknowledge that such conduct constitutes an
indefinite unconditional, specific and voluntary
consent to the processing of such Personal Information
in the following manner by the CoE and/or third
parties:
Personal Information may be shared by the CoE
with
Verification Information Suppliers for
verification or
other legitimate purposes;
Personal Information may be stored indefinitely
by
the CoE and/or the Verification Information
Suppliers.
I note that if the CoE has utilised the Personal
Information contrary to the Privacy and Data Protection
Conditions, I shall first resolve any concerns with the
CoE. If I am not satisfied with such process, I have
the right to lodge a complaint with the Information
Regulator.
I acknowledge that I may withdraw any consent provided
in terms of this Agreement and if so Personal
Information will only be processed if permitted under
the Privacy and Data Protection Conditions.
A copy of Personal Information kept by the CoE will be
furnished to me upon request in terms of the provisions
of POPI Act.
I unconditionally agree to indemnify the CoE and/or the
Verification Information Suppliers against any
liability that may result from the processing of
Personal Information. This includes unintentional
disclosures of such Personal Information to - or access
by unauthorized persons, and/or any reliance which may
inadvertently be placed on inaccurate Personal
Information provided to the CoE by myself and/or any
third parties.
I acknowledge that I have read and understand this
agreement and accept the conditions therein.
