Minimum Requirements:
Civil Engineering Degree (B Eng/ BSc/ B Tech/ Advance Diploma) or Project Management Degree (NQF Level 7)
Valid driver's licence
Registered with ECSA or SACPCMP or registered as a candidate and enroute to Professional registration
3 years working experience in construction/ contract or project management
Core Responsibilities:
Plan, organise, direct, control and coordinate the implementation of projects with your area of accountability
Support, monitor and report on project implementation
Manage allocated projects according to the set project management standards, methodology, prosses and tools by anticipating problems and resolve them timeously
Implement, plan and drive project plans within area of accountability by planning and defining project scope, activity planning and sequencing, resource planning, developing schedules, time estimating, cost estimating etc
Drive the execution of operational targets and objectives in the context of approved plans, policy, processes, governance and delivery systems
Prepare and deliver monthly and quarterly reports as per developed set standards and requirements, legislation and regulations
Ensure compliance to engineering standards and specifications, review and approve engineering drawing and design reports for projects
Lead and manage direct and indirect teams

I acknowledge that should the City of Ekurhuleni find
any discrepancies or issues, the City, reserves the
right to withdraw any offer made to me, the applicant.

the CoE is provided voluntarily.
I understand that privacy is important to the
Responsible Parties and the Responsible Parties will
use reasonable efforts in order to ensure that any
Personal Information in their possession or processed
on their behalf is kept confidential, stored in a
secure manner and processed in terms of South African
law.
I confirm that all information, including Personal
Information, supplied to the CoE is accurate and
current and agree to correct and update such
information when necessary.
By submitting any Personal Information to the CoE in
any form I acknowledge that such conduct constitutes an
indefinite unconditional, specific and voluntary
consent to the processing of such Personal Information
in the following manner by the CoE and/or third
parties:
Personal Information may be shared by the CoE
with
Verification Information Suppliers for
verification or
other legitimate purposes;
Personal Information may be stored indefinitely
by
the CoE and/or the Verification Information
Suppliers.
I note that if the CoE has utilised the Personal
Information contrary to the Privacy and Data Protection
Conditions, I shall first resolve any concerns with the
CoE. If I am not satisfied with such process, I have
the right to lodge a complaint with the Information
Regulator.
I acknowledge that I may withdraw any consent provided
in terms of this Agreement and if so Personal
Information will only be processed if permitted under
the Privacy and Data Protection Conditions.
A copy of Personal Information kept by the CoE will be
furnished to me upon request in terms of the provisions
of POPI Act.
I unconditionally agree to indemnify the CoE and/or the
Verification Information Suppliers against any
liability that may result from the processing of
Personal Information. This includes unintentional
disclosures of such Personal Information to - or access
by unauthorized persons, and/or any reliance which may
inadvertently be placed on inaccurate Personal
Information provided to the CoE by myself and/or any
third parties.
I acknowledge that I have read and understand this
agreement and accept the conditions therein.
