Minimum Requirements:
N6 Electrician with Trade Test
Valid code C1 Divers licence.
2 - 3 years' experience in a similar environment with knowledge of Electrical Distribution Networks
Core Responsibilities:
Supervise and control technical, administrative and construction operation activities.
Allocate work to subordinates and monitor the execution of tasks
Perform administration required to ensure meter and consumer details are captured.
Supervise and execute projects for the section
Provide material for works to be executed to the contractors or personnel
Enforce Council policies on time keeping, safety and general conduct
Execute and supervise standby duties to ensure NRS are adhered to
Attend middle management and related meetings to ensure proper feedback
Undertake ant other duties as appropriate within competence as required by senior engineer or any other authorised person
Ensure effective implementation of Council resolutions with regard to risks and minimise issues of non-compliance.
Provide professional advice and consulting services to relevant parties and deliver efficient and effective service delivery.

The successful candidate will be required to sign a performance contract as per Council resolution.
Candidates may be requested to submit proof of the NQF level applicable to the qualifications they have obtained.

Responsible Parties and the Responsible Parties will
use reasonable efforts in order to ensure that any

I confirm that all information, including Personal
Information, supplied to the CoE is accurate and
current and agree to correct and update such
information when necessary.
By submitting any Personal Information to the CoE in
any form I acknowledge that such conduct constitutes an
indefinite unconditional, specific and voluntary
consent to the processing of such Personal Information
in the following manner by the CoE and/or third
parties:
Personal Information may be shared by the CoE
with
Verification Information Suppliers for
verification or
other legitimate purposes;
Personal Information may be stored indefinitely
by
the CoE and/or the Verification Information
Suppliers.
I note that if the CoE has utilised the Personal
Information contrary to the Privacy and Data Protection
Conditions, I shall first resolve any concerns with the
CoE. If I am not satisfied with such process, I have
the right to lodge a complaint with the Information
Regulator.
I acknowledge that I may withdraw any consent provided
in terms of this Agreement and if so Personal
Information will only be processed if permitted under
the Privacy and Data Protection Conditions.
A copy of Personal Information kept by the CoE will be
furnished to me upon request in terms of the provisions
of POPI Act.
I unconditionally agree to indemnify the CoE and/or the
Verification Information Suppliers against any
liability that may result from the processing of
Personal Information. This includes unintentional
disclosures of such Personal Information to - or access
by unauthorized persons, and/or any reliance which may
inadvertently be placed on inaccurate Personal
Information provided to the CoE by myself and/or any
third parties.
I acknowledge that I have read and understand this
agreement and accept the conditions therein.
