Minimum Requirements:

  • Grade 12
  • Computer literacy
  • Interpersonal and Communication skills
  • 1 years' experience in similar environment

Core Responsibilities:

  • Preform administrative office duties for the Metering Installation Maintenance sub section
  • Provide customers with first line administrative meter installation advice
  • Handle first line queries relevant to existing meter installations and electrical installations
  • Attend to queries from the public and other department regarding existing connections, prepayment meters, tampering, tariffs, service connections and disconnections.
  • Ensure that consumer data, metering data and property data is correct on the billing and vending systems
  • Utilise Business Process Management System to schedule job cards and to correct metering data for prepayment, conventional, smart and AMR meters
  • Ensure that all applications are completed according to governance standards
