Minimum Requirements:

· Degree in Real Estate or recognised degree in Property Valuation

· Registration as a professional Valuer with the SA Council for the Property Valuers Profession

· Valid Driver's licence

· 10 years work experience within the valuation environment

Core Responsibilities:

· Develop, advise and implement strategic capability and leadership

· Develop and design valuations systems, real estate financial models and assist the division in achieving its targets including but not limited to financial targets

· Develop annual operating plan to meet annual objectives as well as organising priority tasks and work processes needed to achieve the plan

· Implement risk management, governance and compliance policy and processes

· Monitor and enforce effective financial control, corporate governance and financial compliance throughout the area of liability

· Deliver on service level agreements that are aligned with the Batho Pele principles, monitor feedback and ensure continued customer satisfaction

· Drive an aligned customer service excellence culture

· Advice management on valuation matters

· Ensure timeous, clear contracting and assessment of performance expectations with direct reports in line with organisational objectives

The successful candidate will be required to sign a performance contract as per Council resolution.
